New Roof @ the North Fork Studio!

The ARTISTS' LOFT is sponsoring a gofundme campaign in the amount of $9,500 to raise money to replace our old leaky roof,  and redo electrical and insulation in the upstairs loft at the North Fork Studio.  

The ARTISTS' LOFT plans to have many classes and workshops to benefit our local community and your donations large and small for the new roof is an essential step towards the impletation of this goal.


                 
ABOUT OUR GOFUNDME CAMPAIGN

We are very thankful to have access to such a wonderful space as the North Fork Studio which is a local non-profit community space.  We are actively taking steps to make the upstairs loft space as beautiful and useful for our teaching of Art and Craft classes as the ground floor.

The upstairs loft space is currently in dire need of a complete remodel including a NEW ROOF, electrical, insulation, sheet rock, texture, paint, heating/air conditioning unit, lighting and new durable flooring!



ABOUT THE ARTISTS' LOFT

As Artists and Teachers who know how fulfilling and enjoyable it is to learn to use our hands to explore all kinds of materials and art forms and to see that spark ignited in the hearts and minds of our students. Developing a rich Arts and Crafts program here in North Fork will make our world a better place.

The driving force in all 5 of us is a deep and abiding passion for the part of human experience that makes us want to create and express ourselves.

The making of Art and Craft is an ancient urge that surfaces throughout the ages and should be a part of every person's life. 

Art can be a healing force and can bring joy to its practitioners. We know what a positive effect a community can feel when personal pride in an artistic accomplishment translates into community pride. Joan Constable's town mural projects are proof in point.

We are excited about paying forward in our community where the potential for feedback can take many forms. We intend to redefine the idea of what an Artist is and does.

By sharing our knowledge and skills thru teaching all sorts of classes, the opportunity to help each and every student realize the potential within can flourish. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring this vision to reality.
