"How can we create the conditions for a partnership society in times of polarisation?"

This calling question for the Art of Hosting Conversations that Matter training in Hungary February 14 – 17, 2019 seems to be resonating with many people in Hungary and Eastern Europe given the number of responses from people who want to participate.   Unfortunately, given the economic situation in this part of the world, many are unable to afford the training fee of 290 EUR.

We are asking for your help to support up to 10 participants to attend the training.

This training is inspired by the unique history and severe challenges witnessed in Eastern Europe, as well as by the wish to catalyse our collective power to co-create the future we want.

A more equitable economic system is an essential aspect of this co-created future and this training is one opportunity for practice and learning in how to live differently with money.  We are offering this training in the spirit and pattern of a sharing economy - a way to tangibly practice collaboration in the difficult realm of money with transparency and generosity. We are inviting you to be part of this experience by helping to support those participants who are unable to afford the registration fee.  To be honest, we, as the hosting team, are committed to making this training accessible to everyone who wants to attend even though this means forgoing our hosting fees.  It does not feel honoring nor sustainable to rely upon the generosity of a hosting team as the means for building capacity where needed in economically challenged places. So, in the spirit of making creating a global sharing economy, we are inviting your participation.

Finances are still quite challenging in this part of Europe. Even though there is an increasing number of people who are interested in participatory leadership, we are still getting a lot of emails about challenging financial backgrounds, where money is the hindrance to participate in this education.

Money will be spent on accommodation, food, rent of space, materials and small compensation for the hosting and organising team.

In the spirit of a sharing economy, we would like to express our gratitude for your generosity in some way.  Your contribution will be acknowledged at the training and you will receive an expression of gratitude in some form from the training as well as the harvest from the training.

Thank you!
