Army A Company 2/2 Infantry Medal of Honor Travel

My name is Tim Wenger and I've worked with David Bellavia at WBEN for more than three years.  I'm the Operations Manager/Program Director at WBEN and Entercom Buffalo.

As David Bellavia receives the highest military recognition with the Medal of Honor, he'll be surrounded by the living members of the Army's A Company 2/2 Infantry he served with along with family members of those who never came home.

This trip to Washington to be part of this recognition and honor is a financial burden for some of the members and families.

We're looking to offset travel expenses for our Veterans who served so proudly and the families of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

If, in the end, there are any additional funds, they will be donated to the Veterans Stand Down organized by the Buffalo Veterans Administration.

We're in the process of dispensing the funds to those in need who are either fellow 2/2 infantry members who served with David or Gold Star families.  The funds are being handled through a secure bank account via David's Duty 1st entity and all related expenses are being checked against provided receipts.
