Arkhan’s Getting a Leg

Arkhan was born with a deformity in his leg that resulted in an amputation.  His insurance only pays for a new leg every 3 years.  He’s growing faster than that, but he never backs down from a challenge. As a result, he’s taught himself how to CAD design and 3D scan and 3D print his own leg.  His perseverance and growth as a student and as a person is nothing short of incredible.  However, the model he created has limitations.  He can’t use it to play sports or even really run.  

An organization called 50Legs based in Orlando, FL is stepping up to make that dream come true for him.  They have chosen to fly Arkhan and his family to Orlando for a week and provide him with not one but 2 prosthetic legs.  One will be an everyday leg and one will be an athletic leg so he can play sports and dance again.  While they are paying for airfare and medical expenses, his family will need financial support for food and rental car as well as missed work time.  We would also love to send him to Disney while he is there.   I’ve never met a more inspiring or more deserving young man.  He is so full of life and makes everyone around him smile every single day.  Other than a trip to Oklahoma, Arkhan has never left Northwest Arkansas.  Please help 50Legs provide him with this life changing opportunity.
