Ariya - God's Lion

Our daughters name is Ariya and she is the most loving little girl there is. She brings such joy and shines a bright light into our lives and everyone else she comes in contact with. On 12/29/2017 our life was turned upside down when our beautiful 7 month old little girl was diagnosed with infant acute lymphoblastic leukemia and was positive for the MLL gene reaarangement. This was such a shock to us and it has felt like our heart has been ripped out. The pain we have felt can't even be described. Ariya's treatment is projected to last 2 years and will consist of multiple chemotherapy drugs, high doses of steroids, antibiotics, and medications to help with the undesirable side effects. Ariya has already undergone a surgical procedure to have a Broviak line aka Hickman line placed so she can receive her medications and have labs drawn weekly and sometimes daily. During her 2 years of treatment, she will  undergo multiple bone marrow aspirations, lumbar punctures, and intrathecal chemotherapy that she will need to be sedated for. The first 5-6 weeks of treatment Ariya will be staying in the hospital for treatment then discharged home and returning on multiple occasions for her continous treatment. The funds received will help us pay for Ariya's medical care as well as allow us to be with our daughter during her treatment. We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our heart who have helped us not only financially but have also showed Ariya and us love and support.

When we named our daughter we did not know that her name had such a powerful meaning..... "GOD'S LION"

She is our fierce little warrior and she will fight through this!!! We love you baby girl!!!
