ARC helps to rescue Ho Chi Minh City's abandoned and abused animals

ARC is a non-profit charity based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We rescue cats and dogs, treat their medical problems, neuter them, and then find them new loving homes. Vietnam is a wonderful country with amazing people, but sadly, animal welfare standards are far behind most western countries.
Our education program reaches out to schools; we teach children all about animal welfare, trusting the next generation will be better equipped to provide animals with the care and love that is so desperately needed here.

We currently have a small safe house for cats only. Our dogs are kept in private foster care, but we would love to be able to establish a shelter large enough for both cats and dogs, enabling us to rescue and re-home even more animals in need.

We were sooooo releived to see Lucky relaxed and happy away from the safety of the clinic. We were starting to worry as she was very attached to her bed at the clinic and was terrified to leave it. We were so anxious to see how she would get on in a new environment. This our volunteer's home and our dog trainer was on hand to make the transition smooth. When we saw how relaxed she was when the cat jumped in her 'safety bed' and ate her food, our hearts sang with joy. A very good start!! Thank you for the support, without your help we couldn't continue this vital work so THANK YOU! x

The Year of the Kitten
The year of the monkey could be renamed year of the kitten at ARC. This TET holiday season we were hard at work and, even though most of the city was in shutdown, our doors remained open.
Over the past several weeks we have taken in 20 new kittens. Each rescued kitten requires emergency medical care as well as treatment for worms, fleas and routine vaccinations.
ARC is 100% volunteer run and to continue to help as many cats and dogs as possible we require your support.
Please help us get this New Year off to great start! Please help us by donating today so that we can make a difference to the lives of many more animals in 2016.
Chúc mừng năm mới 2016!
Thank you very much!
