Arachnarche is a stop motion short film that follows a doll who must overcome her fears as she is betrayed by her dollhouse. This experimental, coming of age, body horror film follows the doll in her reluctant escape and how she finds an unlikely companion.
Where will the funding go?
The funding is to cover all the costs of bringing a stop motion film to life. This contains the making of the puppets to the sets and everything in-between. It will also go to pushing the film to film festivals in the summer of 2020.
Who are we?
We are a group of students working on our final project for our BA in Animation. This project is being led by Jack Egleton and Emma Jordan who are directing this production. Rebecca Wood is co-producing the production with Emma. Giulia Croce is a set designer and prop designer. We also have Ellen Forster as a model maker and designer.
