Dads Fight

Today and the weeks to follow I’m sure will bring whirlwinds of emotions to our family to say the least. After a couple of weeks of feeling like having the flu and not being able to kick it.....came a trip to the ER this week. Our Dad, Rick Mitsui was just diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a VERY aggressive form of blood and bone cancer. In just notifying immediate family people have reached out with questions and support. At this time we’re asking for all the prayers we can get, we thank you in advance for joining us on this journey to getting better! Although there is power in positive vibes and prayer there are a few things that they and insurance don’t cover. The out of pocket expenses can be overwhelming and we need all the help we can get there too.
We have applied for every program available and awaiting approval to help with the expenses of medicine and procedures. He is being transferred to UI at Taylor Street this evening. We will be meeting with oncologists over the next week to get a plan in place for fighting this dreaded disease. If you can please donate pass the word along and help to prolong the life of a very loved man.
