In September 2017, Ryon Gross, HS Science teacher at Waverly-South Shore School in Waverly, SD, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma. It has since spread to his bones and other areas of his body.
Ryon's wife, Dawn, is also a teacher and are the parents of five children.
Ryon has taught at Waverly-South Shore since 2000. He has also coached Boys Basketball and Track. For the past several years, Ryon has accompained award-winning science fair students to international science fair competitions.
The purpose of this campaign is to help defray continuing medical expences for him and his family.
