Antique House Fire

Antique House in Knockholt tragically was subject to a house fire yesterday. Margaret Willis, who is in her eighties, and her dog, Angus, were rescued from the fire and are currently relying on the kindness of neighbours. Margaret has lost all her possessions. This Go Fund Me is set up in response to many requests from people (both in and outside Knockholt) to be able to offer help and support to Margaret. I run the Knockholt Grapevine (village email) and live a few doors down from where Margaret is currently staying and have been asked by Margaret's friends and other residents to set up a central point for collecting donations. The Parish Council have been notified that this collection of funds is taking place.

All money donated will be passed on to Margaret directly - as soon as she has sorted matters with her bank, the money will be transferred straight there for her to buy any essentials she needs for everyday and to start replacing her lost possessions. Unfortunately her house insurance policy had lapsed without her realising so there will be no money coming from there. Thanks for your help.
