Anti-Oppression Training Workshop

On Sept 16th, the Ottawa-Outaouais GMB are offering an Anti-Oppression Workshop for anyone interested in building their skills for anti-oppressive community building.

As we're a small branch with limited funds, supporting this workshop will provide the training our organizers need, while properly paying the trainers.

Taking place on the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg people.

This event is wheelchair accessible.

"I am a ethnically mixed transguy, who is currently settled in Canada. I am originally from South Africa. I moved to Canada, 2006, via Kazakhstan, 2002-2006. I have lived and learnt in many different places, and because of this I value community. The kind of community that can only be created by sharing a meal with folks, or working together towards a common goal.
