Hey! Welcome to my page. Little about me... I'm 19 years old, just graduated high school (woohoo! no more pencils, no more books, no more teachers dirty looks), and I am very passionate about skateboarding and God.
I was unsure what I was going to do after high school until I came across Calling All Skaters Discipleship Training Program. What’s that!? Why, I’m glad you asked...It’s a non-profit skateboarding ministry. For 3 months skateboarders receive teachings on how to be a disciple of Christ along with worship, intercession, and going out into the local skate parks to share the love of Christ. But wait there’s more (cue the Billy Mays sales pitch infomercial) ...for the following 2-3 months the skateboarders go to another country using their discipleship training to bring Christianity into the skateboarding community worldwide! By the end of the program skaters will have earned 20 credits with the University of the Nations. I have prayed about it and I know this is what I am called to do. (Skateboarding and God are bae)
Since Calling All Skaters a non-profit and the program is so new and unique, it does not have traditional funding options available. I have to earn, fundraise, beg, plead, sign away my life, sell my first born, secretly garage sale my parent’s belongings, or any other means I can come across to pay for the tuition. (Disclaimer: mom says do not sell her chihuahuas). I’m working hard this summer to raise the money I need. I have to have $3,500 by September 2017 and $2,500 by January 2018. This is where I need your help. (Insert puppy dog eyes here) A donation of any amount will help.
Please help me. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and just imagine the people I can lead to Christ through my skateboarding.
