Anthony's Fight for Life

After nearly three weeks of testing at Lutheran General Hospital, my nephew Anthony, age 9, was diagnosed with anaplastic large cell lymphoma stage III this week. He will start chemotherapy this Monday, January 14. This round will be two weeks long and then treatment will continue for one full week, every three weeks, for six to eight months. 

My sister-in-law, Amber, is currently six months pregnant and not able to work while staying at the hospital with Anthony. In addition, Anthony will need to be home schooled for the remainder of this school year, which will also most likely prevent her from working.

Anthony loves basketball, video games, art, and is a very active kid. He is also extremely intelligent, and I could see how sad he was when his mom told him he would not be returning to school this year. He is a fighter and, honestly, the bravest kid I've ever met. 

With the amount of medical bills that are expected and insurance not covering everything he needs to fight this battle, anything that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
