Anishinaabe Singer-songwriter-environmental & social justice activist  Annie Humphrey  has been paying it forward for a very long time.  Please show your support in any way that you can.

11/11 from CaringBridge...Annie Humphrey and daughter Cedar, were involved in a car accident early in the morning on Saturday, November 10, while on their way to a concert in Marquette, MI.  As they came up over a hill on Highway 2 east of Floodwood, MN, a car with two teenagers crossed over into Annie's lane, and the vehicles hit head-on. Sadly, the passenger in the oncoming vehicle did not survive. But Creator and the Helpers were watching over Annie and Cedar. Annie has a broken wrist and broken bones in her back, but has been discharged from the hospital and is by Cedar's side.  Cedar has suffered some brain trauma from the impact as well as a cracked hip bone.
11/12 from Annie via CaringBridge...The neurosurgeon came to see Cedar, and said that it's just going to take time for Cedar to come around and to see what the brain injury has affected. The doctors expect Cedar to be staying in the pediatric ICU through the weekend, followed by six weeks at a rehabilitation facility to work on occupational and physical therapy. Again, the exact therapy plan will depend on what the brain injuries have affected. The doctors are recommending that things stay quiet while Cedar is in ICU and for the first week or so at the rehabilitation unit. '
