Our journey with Annabelle has gone back several years for which we are eternally grateful to God for her continued growth and health.
On a trip to Topeka we ended up in the PICU with respiratory failure due to a virus infection. For many kiddos this hits hard but for Miss Belle and her history of chronic lung disease, it has kept her ill for over a month. We've been in the hospital with her for nearing four weeks.
We were thankfully transferred to Ann and Robert H Luries Children's Hospital a little over two weeks ago. We've had some scary moments but our babe is a fighter. She daily makes progress and is showing the grace of God with every step she takes towards full recovery.
We dont know what the total need will be to help with transfer, medical costs not covered under insurance, future therapy. Dad is here with us and not able to work. We need help so we can keep our focus and prayers with Miss Belle.
