Ann and Bill Clemmons' house fire

Donation protected
As many are just finding out, Ann and Bill Clemmons' house suffered a serious fire when the power was coming back on after the storm. Ann got her violin out, but not much else. As anyone who has ever been involved in music education on the shoreline knows, Ann and Bill have given so much of their time and themselves. They were teachers in the Madison school system for years, the founded and ran the Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra and ran that for 25 years, Bill conducts the North madison Congregational Church choir, Ann helps out with a fiddle club, called the Skunk Misery Ramblers... The list goes on and on.

We all know that insurance will help with a good bit of the house, but never a complete amount. As they are retired, the clear need is for some funding to help them cover expenses over the short term, and while the house gets repaired. It's impossible to estimate how much is needed, but if we could all collectively raise $10,000, I think that would go along way towards helping.

As of now, generous friends are arranging for some short-term furniture, and a friendly church is loaning them a house for a bit, so it's not like they need stuff, or are homeless. But they will experience some serious cash outlays over thinnest few months that they were not prepared for.

The funds will be needed as soon as possible. It's impossible to describe how much Ann and Bill have meant to our family, and to thousands of families along the shoreline through their years here. Now it's our turn! Thanks for anything any of you can do.
