An Infertile Graphic Novel

After 2 years, 3 failed IUIs, countless cancelled cycles, 1 horrible allergic reaction where I couldn't sit down for a week, 18 eggs retrieved, 3 "perfect" embryos, 2 failed transfers, and 1 positive result that quickly ended in a miscarriage--I couldn't let my experience just end. I know there are so many people struggling with infertility in secret, taking out loans to cover their next transfer, and looking for signs that this cycle will be THE cycle--and I wanted to tell them they aren't alone (even if most of the time it certainly feels that way). So with the help of an amazing illustrator we are telling my story with this graphic novel. But this amazing illustrator needs to get paid. And then there's self-publishing, getting the word out, and all that fun stuff. So here I am, asking you to help my illustrator get some well-deserved cheddar, and help me get this book out into the world so others might feel a tiny bit less alone.
