Help Carmen's Cat Rescue Project

Donation protected
Would you help me care for homeless animals? My name is Carmen. I am from Mexico and have lived in the USA for most of my adult life. I am married and have two children in high school. I live in South Florida, in Delray Beach. As seen in the Huffington Post https://goo.gl/EoMZl9

I became interested in animals and cats in particular when one day a cat appeared at our front door. My daughter started feeding her and I noticed how dependant this feral cat became on us. We named her Lovee and one thing lead to the next. I soon found myself going out looking for ferals to spay and neuter and help them live better lives. I then became interested in ferals that were injured or sick, who were living mainly in low income areas, like many mobile home parks in West Palm Beach and Lake Worth, FL.

My goal is to trap, rehabilitate, spay or neuter and socialize the cats and kittens. When they are healthy, I help find them loving homes.

Last year I founded Animal Friends Project, Inc. and became a 501c3 organization.  It is mainly just me and my immediate family.  I do receive support from many wonderful local friends and donors but there are so many cats and kittens in need of help, that I am asking for support from other kind people around the world.

Here are some of the cats and kittens I have helped.

The money received would be used primarily to pay past vet bills and for the kitties food, future vet bills, medicine and care. My dream is to be able to help all the injured cats and kittens in need of help I come across.

Charlie is one of the kittens I was asked to help at one mobile home park.  He was very sick but once he became healthy, I was able to find him a good home.

I would be so thankful even for the smallest donation. Just having you read my Facebook page and understanding the challenges the cats have would make my campaign worth it for me. Take a look at my FB page  and at the before and after photos of sick and injured cats and kittens to fully understand how much they need us.

I will include a video about Cotton. He had a severe case of mange. His eyes were closed for several weeks while I treated him. Imagine my suprise when Cotton finaly opened his eyes.
