Childhood Cancer Awareness
Donation protected
My name is Claire Blevins and I am a pediatric oncology patient at Cleveland Clinic Children’s, where I am currently receiving treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I have missed school, volleyball, and various other events that I am not allowed to attend at the risk of getting sick. But kids who are even younger than I, or at an age to little to understand, should not have to worry about that when playing outside or on playgrounds with friends. They should be able to go to the zoo, visit Santa at the mall during Christmas time, go swimming, and many other things!
Did you know only 4% of all government funding towards cancer goes to pediatric cancer research?
September is pediatric cancer awareness month, and this year, I want to make a difference and help the funding of pediatric cancer research. By donating money, you are helping thousands of kids across the U.S who are missing out on having a normal childhood. Everything is going to the National Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. Even a dollar could go a long way. Anything helps and is much appreciated! Thank you so much for your understanding!
