One of my earliest memories is from when I must have been 3 or 4 years old. I was absolutely in love with the movie Pete's Dragon, most especially due to the singing of Helen Reddy. I remember thinking that I wanted to sing as beautifully as she did. Fast forward to middle school choir, then high school choir and musicals then college - I majored in voice and have been honing my art ever since.

For the past 15 years I have been performing professionally in opera and in concert. Recent performances have garnered rave reviews BUT I have not yet reached the top of my game. This summer I have been invited to participate at OperaVision Academy (Instituto Internazionale d'Opera Lirica) in Urbania, Italy. This is a prestigious 3-week workshop designed for professionals. It was co-founded by international opera superstar Aprile Millo and Canadian soprano, musicologist and opera specialist Dr. Mary-Lou Vetere. This year's coaches include Mme. I have been dreaming the stage dream for as long as I can remember and while I can say I am in some ways already living that dream, this experience will take it to the next level - where the stars are born. The expenses to attend however, are becoming more and more out of my reach as the Turkish Lira continues to lose value abroad. Without financial help, it won't be possible for me to take advantage of this amazing invitation. I hope that you will help me in this long-term endeavor - no donation is too small.
