Angel's for Emily - Medical Fund

Angels for Emily ... Family and friends have rallied to plan a fundraising event to assist Emily & Aaron with accumulating medical costs; this GoFundMe will be combined with our upcoming event to support them in their journey. Emily & Aaron Spencer; they got married in 2008 and currently live in windy Wyoming County. Emily, formerly a registered nurse, was recently diagnosed with a very rare degenerative neurological condition, known as Hallervorden-Spatz Disease, for thich there is currently no cure & minimal treatment available.

Anyone priveleged enough to be a friend of Emily's knows of her beautiful vibrant smile; to say she lights up a room would be an exaggerated understatement. Emily's entire career was focused on giving; she adored her position as a registered nurse. Due to her recent diagnosis, she can no longer commit to working at the hospital and as such, Aaron & Emily have lost their insurance coverage amidst this struggle. Emily has expressed great passion for raising awareness about this rare condition, in hopes of aiding in the future developments for a potential treatment or cure.

ALL funds collected here and at our benefit will go towards the medical costs that the Spencer Family is accruing as they seek further treatment and care options.
