Angela's Nutrition Plan & Treatment

Angela’s has been our friend for over 15 years and 3 years ago she was diagnosed with Cancer. Her battle started soon after giving birth to her 2nd child when a pain in her breast turned out to be breast cancer and last year it spread to her bones and lymphatic system. She has gone thru chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and lastly an immunotherapy treatment which is taking a big toll on her body and her overall health. Currently she lives at home with her husband who works full time to pay the medical bills, two daughters who are the most active, happy and beautiful girls, and a family member who helps her part time. But this has not been enough to help her heal from the treatments and finally win the battle against cancer. Although it’s been very hard for her and her family, she still fighting and hopes to overcome this disease.

For this reason, a group of friends have decided to step up and help her win this battle by getting her nutritional support. Our research in this matter has taught that the best tool to help cancer patients is to have a great nutritional plan implemented so the body’s immune system can be strong enough to handle all the treatments. Unfortunately, this support comes with a heavy price since a cancer patient like our friend Angela, is not capable of doing it all by herself. The grocery shopping, cooking, juicing, and buying supplements are a big expense and can be stressful which makes it harder for her to recuperate from this disease. Therefore, we want to help her by raising funds to hire a helper who can take care of her full time and buy the food that she needs.

Angela ha sido nuestra amiga por mas de 15 años y hace 3 años fue diagnosticada con cancer. Su batalla comenzo poco despues de haber tenido su 2da hija cuando el dolor en su seno resulto siendo cancer y el año pasado hizo metastasis en sus huesos y sistema linfatico. Ella ha tenido tratamientos de quimioterapia, radiacion, cirugia y ultimamente de inmunoterapia el cual ha hecho que su cuerpo y salud sufra mas. En este momento ella vive en su casa con su esposo quien trabaja tiempo completo para pagar las cuentas medicas, sus dos hermosas hijas y un miembro de la familia que ayuda en la casa. Pero esto no ha sido suficiente para ayudarla a curarse, sanarse de los tratamientos y finalmente ganar la batalla contra el cancer. Aunque ha sido muy dificil para ella y su familia, ella todavia guarda la esperanza de sobreponerse de esta enfermedad.

Es por esta razon que un grupo de amigas hemos decidido ayudarla a ganar esta batalla consiguiendole una ayuda para una buena nutricion. Nuestras investigaciones nos han enseñado que la mejor forma para ayudar a los pacientes con cancer es tener un buen plan nutricional para que el sistema inmunologico pueda fortalecerse para lidiar con los tratamientos. Desafortunadamente este plan tiene un valor alto ya que los pacientes de cancer como nuestra amiga Angela no esta en capacidad de hacerlo todo ella sola. Ir al supermercado, cocinar, hacer jugos y comprar los suplementos representan un gasto muy grande lo cual puede ser estresante y por lo tanto hace que su recuperacion sea mas dificil. Es por eso que queremos ayudarla recogiendo fondos para contratar a un ayudante que pueda hacerse a cargo de ella de tiempo completo comprando y preparando la comida que ella necesita.

Por este motivo es que estamos pidiendole que nos ayude a ayudar a nuestra amiga en esta causa. Sepa que cada hora de ayuda que Angela pueda obtener, es una hora de sanacion para ella.
