Andrew's Trip to STEM Conference

I'm raising money for my son, Andrew. He has been nominated by his school and accepted to the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders (. This is a very prestigious group and would be an amazing opportunity to kick-start his education and network with leaders and teachers in the STEM community. To be chosen to represent his school and Virginia is an honor and a recognition of his love and dedication to scientific study.
For as long as I can remember, all facets of STEM have fascinated and drawn Andrew in. His life ambition is to study and eventually work in a scientific field. This will be a boon to his college transcripts and a huge stepping stone for him.
So, in order to get him there, it will be costly. The Congress will take place in Lowell, Massachusetts (just outside of Boston) from June 29th to July 1st. The deadline to register is April 21st. The Congress itself is a one-hour college credit and costs $996 to attend. The cost covers instruction, speakers (including some of the leading minds in science today and special guests like Buzz Aldrin), education personnel, and his National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence. We are also looking to raise money to cover travel and lodging costs. Anything raised in excess of our goals will be donated to STEM related scholarships and study programs to help other science lovers on their path.
