Andreas Lichtblau’s Legacy

Andreas, Cynthia & family were completely blindsided this week with the news that Andreas’ sore throat was in fact a symptom of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. From what we know, Andreas is in for a hell of a fight as the oncology team bombards his body with an aggressive chemotherapy treatment.

Andreas was flown from Red Lake, ON to  Thunder Bay, ON this past week to ensure he receives the best care possible. 

Caroline, Marc, Paul & Rachel, their spouses and children all live a significant distance from Thunder Bay. Each child will be taking their turn to fly to Thunder Bay to support their Mom & Dad. 

Between flights, hotel stays, missed work, and additional nutrition expenses, the financial strain of their nightmare is already being felt. 

Our hope with this campaign is to provide some financial relief and alleviate the financial stress Cynthia & Andreas are already feeling, so they are able to focus on allowing Andreas to put all his energy into this fight. 

At this time, visitors other than immediate family are not being accepted as Andreas’ immune system is compromised. 

We ask, respectfully, to refrain from overwhelming Cynthia with personal calls or emails as she is spending the majority of her day speaking with doctors and supporting Andreas.
