Community brought us together

From the first moment that we stepped foot into St. James, we knew we were in a place that we could call home. Throughout our time together as a couple, we have gotten involved at St. James and have loved being a part of their ministry, one that is rooted in loving your neighbor as yourself.

We're excited to use our wedding as a platform to support the community outreach efforts of St. James, work that truly reaches out to the needs of the surrounding community.

Normally, an engaged couple would ask their wedding guests to gift them with items that they do not yet have so that they can comfortably begin their life together. We have more than enough stuff between the two of us to furnish our new place, cook meals, and host friends and family.

Instead of asking for gift items for our wedding, we ask you to consider donating to St. James. This gift to our community would be significantly more meaningful to us as a couple than anything you could buy us. 

Also, no matter how much we are able to raise, you can rest assured that this campaign will be incredibly impactful on St. James and the surrounding community. Currently, the church and all community outreach efforts operate on only a $200,000 annual budget.
