Anderson Family-Anchorage Earthquake

The Anderson Family suffered a significant loss in the recent earthquake. Their home is currently unliveable and contractors estimate repairs will be in the realm of $200,000. Their home was scheduled  to close in the coming weeks, but the buyers have backed out. This leaves the family responsible for paying their mortgage, while also paying for the new home they were moving into. Currently, they are without a car, as both the family vehicles are trapped inside the garage.

Like most Alaskans, the Anderson Family does not have earthquake insurance. In the coming weeks, they will face a significant financial burden.
