Ana Strong "The Miracle Baby!"

Donation protected
On Tuesday, June 13th 2017 around 7:30pm Matthew and Steffanie Hills received the worst phone call a parent can imagine, that their 2 year old daughter Audriana was hit by a car. Audriana was left with her grandmother on her father's side while they both served dinner shifts about 45 minutes away. Audriana was hit on Annapolis street in Wayne, Michigan. Unconscious, Audriana was immediately rushed by ambulance to Annapolis hospital where she went into respiratory failure and needed to be shocked back to life twice. She was then put on a ventilator and airlifted to Beaumont Childrens Hospital ICU where she is still recovering with both parents and many loved ones by her side.  Audriana was admitted with 3 skull fractures to the occipital and temporal bone, bleeding out of her ears, respiratory failure following trauma and surgery, traumatic rhabdomyolysis, pneumocephalus, liver contusion, left ankle swelling, skin abrasions all over her body, and hearing loss in her left ear. Shes had to be put to sleep and undergo 2 CT Scans and is still in a tremendous amount of pain.  Audriana is currently recovering at Beaumont Childrens Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan where she is known as the "miracle baby." Not many children survive this horrific accident but thankfully she did. She has touched so many lives that the hospital staff from that night and members of the Wayne community are constantly visiting and checking up on her progess. Her parents say they are completely overwhelmed with the amount of love, support and prayers they have received and that theres no doubt in their mind that is the reason Audriana is here today. The Hills family is strong and Ana being with us is truely a blessing and a miracle. Although our prayers were answered and we're all able to love, cherish, and keep Audriana closer to us, we all know the financial burdons this can have on 2 young parents with a 2 year old. Neither parent has left Audrianas side in nearly 2 weeks, meaning they are missing work and now have unexpected expenses and medical bills on top of their monthly bills already.  I am starting this GoFundMe account to help them as much as possible and help them stay on their feet during this difficult time! Doctors are saying Audriana will need 6 months-1 year for her skull and injuries to fully recover and that is if she does not need any surgery to fix her current problems.... but the main blessing is that shes here! Steffanie has already stepped away from her job to stay home to watch over Audriana, as any more trauma or bumps to her head could be life threatening. I want them to be able to stay home, spend time with and care for Ana as much as possible. What all 3 of them are currently going through is enough and something no parent should have to endure, so I'm hoping we can all pull together and relieve a little of their financial burdoun and ease their minds so this beautiful family can continue to focus on loving and being there for this precious little girl we all love so much.  Actions speak louder than words! Give today and help Ana on her road to recovery and become even stronger. #anastrong
