I started a Go Fund Me a year ago November initially to raise funds for an accessible van. At this time there is about $4,000.00 in the account. The goal is to raise enough money to purchase an accessible van to transport my disabled son, Collin.Two people could lift Collin’s wheelchair and put it in and out of the vehicle I had. Someone gave me a car and I can no longer put Collin’s wheelchair in it. (I do have a fold up wheelchair, but it does not provide proper support.) Collin is heavy, his wheelchair is heavy. Collin loves to go out and be in the world with the rest of us! An accessible van would mean Collin could go from his bed, to the wheelchair, to the van….easy! It would bring about a wonderful change in his life, and certainly in my life! Thank you
