Amy's Cupcake Trailer Campaign!!!

Hey there Cupcake!  Now I know you're probably saying, "Not another cupcake business" and trust me I'd be saying the same thing if I were the audience! Well let me first start off by saying, this is not just another cupcake business.  This is So Sweet Cupcake Boutique! Cupcakes with personality! I have been in business for a little over a 2 years now and I provide my cupcakes for sale across the North Fort Worth area.  Now, I am not here to try and convince you that my cupcakes are delicious,  but simply to convince you as to why my cupcakes deserve a chance to be seen as well as heard.  My cupcakes need more than a taste, they need a voice.  The only way to do that is to reach out across the Dallas and Fort Worth area so that others can spread the word for them.  In order to so, I need to mobilize these beauties.  Word of mouth is the strongest way to advertise next to social media of course. 

Just to give you a little history on who I am.  My name is Amy, and I am 35 year old vibrant, creative and motivated young lady.  I started my business 2 years ago when I decided to take my love of cake to the next level. Still holding down a full time, I just craved something more ME.  Frosting a cupcake is not easy, let me tell you!  My first batch of cupcakes looked like a bird suddenly got happy and went to town on my cupcakes! 

After realizing that I couldn't just jump in without crawling, I decided to study and learn how to frost by selecting a certain type of frosting tips, and piping bags.  I'd say practice surely makes perfect.  Once I tested the market and a few friends as well (lucky friends) I took a chance and began selling my cupcakes around the area.  I eventually landed a spot working as a vendor in Fort Worth's very own Navy Installation Base as the first cupcake business to be featured.  This was such a great opportunity that I even went out and purchased my first Chef's Jacket...and of course it had to be PINK! 

Business was good for the first year, but I wasn't reaching enough people. I was only focused on one type of demographic.  Sure it was a nice set up, and one can't complain having a dedicated location to sell their products, however I felt it was time to take another leap of faith and venture out to find a way to mobilize my business.  It's time to grow a little more and I know this will take off well. With a fan base on Facebook, friends and family backing me and my efforts, this is just one more speed bump in the road that i must overcome.....obtaining the trailer!

Back to the reason why we are here.  I am trying to purchase a very small but sizable trailer big enough for 2 people, a few shelves, a sink, refrigeration and windows with a serving counter.  Most are asking, "that's all?"  I honestly don't plan on baking my cupcakes and frosting them on site due to the extreme heat here in the good ole' Texas area.  Best thing to do is bake them, load up the trailer and frost, decorate and serve on site to maintain that fresh quality that we stand for.

This size is an excellent way to transport my products to any location in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  There is no gas needed so it's Eco Friendly. The money that you all pledge to help me in becoming an owner of my first cupcake trailer.  I will be able to provide jobs for the community because what's a great business without awesome staff!  With the trailer in motion, I would need to hire a few helping hands!
