Amy has breast cancer AGAIN

April Fool's is next month, nerd!

So. Yes,  this is true.  My cancer has made a reappearance.  

Back in October I thought I pulled a muscle lifting at the gym and aggravated the hip I dislocated in 2010 at a downhill race. Over the last 6 months my hip has gotten worse and finally when I could barely walk I went into the doctor for an MRI and CT on Wednesday (March 15th). Yesterday (March 30th), I was told cancer was found in both my hip and liver.  

Tomorrow I go in for a liver biopsy that will determine the best oral chemo medication. This treatment will be for the liver and the hip....I think.  Liver sounds very treatable. Not 100% on how long I will be using the oral chemo,  it will be based on what they find tomorrow.

The hip, on the otherhand, will require 10 rounds of super power radiation to strengthen the bone. I hope this will work... It should at least reduce the pain in my hip. 

Turns out cancer is expensive, as I learned from my first battle, and I was so lucky to receive help from so many people. It is with a heavy heart that I ask for your help again. Thank you so much.
