Amy Sue McCoy Memorial Fund

This is a memorial fund to help with the funeral expenses for my dear Mother Amy Sue McCoy (Reinstorf) who passed away just days ago. She was only 52 years old. After working a short day last Friday July 20th, my brother Danny reached out to me and was very worried that mom wasn't answering calls to her home phone and her cell phone was dead. After contacting the police to do a welfare check, I arrived to her home just in time for the police to see my mother through the window, lying on the couch. Our worst fears were realized as I watched them kick in her door and try to help her. My mother faught depression and addiction for years but finally succumbed to this horrible disease. Due to the nature of her death, the accidental death life insurance policy will not cover her burial costs. My mother had very little when she passed and we, her three son's, are not financially able to handle this. For her to be cremated with no memorial service and no burial would be just over $1700. If we have a plot for her, the cost to bury those ashes is another $1100. We are currently only asking for enough to at least cover the cremation expenses. My mother was the most caring and nurturing woman I've ever met. Her love for her kids, grandkids, and her dog Cissy, will be what we forever remember her for.
