Amy J. Elias Founder's Fund

Donation protected
ASAP is raising money to inaugurate the Amy J. Elias Founder's Fund, which is named after the brilliant and energetic scholar who established our organization and guided its growth into what has become an intellectual home for many scholars and practitioners of the contemporary arts.

The Elias Fund will provide support for independent artists, as well as graduate students and non-tenure track faculty for whom it may be difficult to pay for conference attendance. As a key component of the ASAP mission to bring together practicing artists and scholars for meaningful discussion, facilitating travel to ASAP conferences and symposia was part of Amy Elias’s original vision for the association.   In subsequent years, ASAP will solicit donations through the conference registration procedure. We are beginning this gofundme campaign to build a base and to get the fund off to a strong start. We will offer awards for ASAP/10 in New Orleans (October 2018). ASAP is a 501 c (3) nonprofit arts organization, and thus your contribution is essential for making this possible.

Thank you for your support!

Thank you again for your support.
