My Ultra Solo Backpack Journey!

I'm a 51 year old ultra solo hiker and climber, who's been through well over 2 dozen surgeries, cancer, 2 lumbar fusions, and 10 knee surgeries.  I don't say that for sympathy, but to show others like you that anything can be accomplished by staying positive and never, ever giving up! I have chosen to live with intention and not let anything stop me from living fully!!

My goal to solo trek the entire Pacific Crest Trail through Oregon, 497 miles, has had to be rescheduled due to a lack of funding and corporate sponsorship. on behalf of all fellow cancer survivors and homeless military veterans. Clearly even solo sports takes a village.

 I am going to solo backpack the entire loop around the Three Sisters Wilderness, climb South Sister and the challenging North Sister, and detour to Broken Top. 64+ miles in 8 days.  I'm leaving The 1st week of August.

I want to motivate, encourage, lift up, and help others to live this life fully by seeing someone like me do this! We have one life, one chance to fully live when others can't..so I see no excuse to not get out in the wilderness and experience peace, healing, restoration and freedom!
