Amy and Mike's Medical Fund

I am startingthis Go Fund Me Page to help my friends  Amy and Mike Stillson. They are a wonderful family that needs our help. Back in January, Mike fell ill with a bout of sepsis, which caused a hole in his bicuspid aortic valve. They also found out, only in March, that he was actually fighting two infections which in turn did not allow for his replacement surgery to heal properly. Because of all of this, he has a significant leak that needs to be fixed, which may never really be fixed. Amy and Mike have had to deal with numerous specialists and some really bad communication from some of them. He was in and out of the hospital.  Mike has to go to many doctor appointments to monitor how is heart is doing.  Due to his condition, Mike has missed several months of work and is still not cleared by his doctor to be back at work. This has caused Amy and Mike to face great financial hardship.  They have lost out of thousand and thousand of dollars of Mike's wages due to Mike not being able to work. Mike was the person who carried their health insurance. Mike may loose his job  because he just had started it and worked three days before he fell ill. Amy may have to take a full time job this summer to help pay the bills and support the family. They have a mountain of medical bills to pay, which is expected to only continue growing. They also have a 3 year old son, who they are also trying to take care of during this time.  Both Amy and Mike are physically and emotinally drained and need our help.
