Go Team Amy!

We were recently devastated by the announcement that our friend and colleague, Amy Benton, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Amy is an amazing 8th grade English teacher that inspires us every day with her dedication to our students and to our education system (Amy has worked for the Amity school system for the past 13 years). We know that Amy is strong, and that she will be all right, but it is going to be a long road. As a teacher, Amy only has a certain amount of sick time. Fighting cancer is difficult. We believe Amy will recover, but we believe she should be able to focus her attention on fighting the cancer and recovering. We do not want the added stress of dealing with finances to hamper her recovery. To that end, we ask that you donate whatever amount you can to help Amy through this difficult time.
