Amir Jamal's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Hey, everyone,
On October 1st, 2017, Amir Jamal was shot and murdered by somebody in cold blood. He was only 26 years old.
Amir Jamal came to Canada six years ago from Afghanistan with his older brother. For the last six years, he has been working 70-80 hours a week in order to save money and support his family back home including his mother, father and other siblings. To everybody that knew Amir, he was the most genuine and kind person. In all the time that everyone knew him, he didn't get into one fight or argument with anybody. He was simply an amazing soul that brought happiness into everybody's lives. He was loving, caring, and generous with every single person that he met. To many of us, he acted as a caring older brother, always looking out for us and watching our backs.
Amir's older brother's wish is to fly his body back to Afghanistan so he can be laid to rest by his parents. Unfortunately, the costs of flying a body back to Afghanistan are not cheap and is a heavy burden on Amir's older brother to carry alone. Amir used to work so hard to send money back home to support his parents. Since his passing, his family needs us, even more now, to donate for the expenses of the funeral. I ask everybody to please donate something, as small as it may be, so we are able to send Amir's body back to his parents.
I have been close friends with Amir for a few years now and I even spent years working with him every day. We share all of the same friends and we all spent a considerable amount together over the last few years. My intention is to withdraw these donations myself and personally give it to Amir's older brother.
Thank you, and once again, I ask you to please donate and share this page as much as you can.
