We lost our beautiful Devon Knight, beloved daughter of Don and Norma Hawkins Flaskerud, and devoted mother to our Amelia on Nov 30th, 2018.
In the prior week to her passing, to our complete shock we were given devastating news that the cancer had spread and at a significant rate. She declined rapidly, unable to have the strength to go through further treatment. Her beautiful positive free spirit was ever present to the end (the cancer didn’t come close to that).
In lieu of flowers (we’ve received such an outpouring of love and support since losing Devon), we have set up a GoFundMe account for Amelia’s education/future. Devon valued education and pursued her Master’s in teaching and we both want Amelia to have the opportunity to attend college.
We have been humbled and grateful for the outpouring of love and support and all the beautiful stories sent. We truly appreciate anyone that can give but if you can’t that is ok as well.
