King Noble Beast's Cancer Fund

King has cancer; lymphoma to be exact. Before we found each other at an animal shelter 5 years ago, he had been run over twice, was missing his front left leg, and was also missing large patches of fur on his back due to extensive scarring.

Since then he has bounced back from absesed teeth and a terrifying episode where he got into my medicine bag while we were traveling. He consumed a month's worth of 4 sperate medicines - one of which acts as an upper in dogs and would have caused a heart attack, another which acts as a downer in dogs and would have put him in a coma, an antihistamine which wouldn't have caused damage, AND the perfect finale: B vitamins which made him throw it all up (& saved his life).

He saw me through one of the toughest times of my life and never left my side; patiently waiting for the storm to pass and giving me a reason to smile when I had no other.
I believe we all have many soul mates in this world and that they come in a variety of forms and serve different purposes. King is one of my soulmates and I'm blessed to have found him.

I want to do everything in my power to provide him with proper care and make sure he has the best quality of life possible. After all he's been through, he deserves to get through this as comfortably as possible. Of course cancer treatment for pets is expensive and there is no luxury of a "co-pay."

The estimated cost of his treatment is $7,500 - and that's not the number one protocol that was recommended. Out of that $7,500 I've already spent $1,994. I don't expect to raise every last penny but even offsetting some of the cost would help tremendously.
