Amed Bali First Aid P3K

Donation protected
We are seeking funding to keep our operation going. Amed Bali First Aid P3K and Ikan Kecil Foodbank.
Currently we are taking care of approx. 4000 people.
Our aim is not to feed every person everyday, but to supplement with nutricious food and vitamins,
while at the same time keeping an eye on every camp for individual issues, health, and data collection.
Data collection is used for many purposes - to keep track of camp locations, movement of people, and individual issues, and all data will be fed into a live map that can be accessed by many organisations.
This is a very important part of our work.
In the event of the Agung eruption ( which is now more than likely, and which will take place very soon) this data will be used in many different ways to assist many different organisations in assisting those who will be affected, cut off, injured and will need to be evacuated, among other reasons.
We need to purchase food, to pay for petrol, hire vehicles and all associated costs which go hand in hand with keeping this organisation operating, and to keep us on the ground daily due to this upcoming crisis (and the evacuee crisis which is occurring right now).
Your donation will be used to cover these costs.

This funding effort has been created to fund the ongoing medical and equipment expenses, of Amed Bali First Aid P3K and it's volunteers.
Our main piece of life safe saving equipment is our trail bike, which is our "All Terrain Emergency First Response Vehicle, Ambulance, Rescue and Evacuation Vehicle" all rolled into one.
This piece of equipment is currently rented and can be neither equipped or maintained in a suitable manner.
We need to purchase our own to effectively continue our life saving service.
We need your help to do this.

We are a unique service of First Responders and qualified First Aiders. We operate in the area from Amlapura on the North East tip of Bali, through to the Tulamben area on the North East Coast and back into the rugged and isolated danger zone of Mount Agung itself.
We assist and service the needs of the local Balinese people predominantly, ocasionaly also tourists and adventure travellers.
Our primary piece of equipment right now is the all terrain trailbike, which is essentially our "All Terrain Emergency Ambulance". We need your help to own it.
This vital piece of equipment is currently rented and therefore cannot be maintained properly or equipped in the way we would like, and that we fully require for our Emergency First Aid service.

Amed First Aid P3K was originally created in response to the Mount Agung crisis and we continue to this day to deal with the aftermath of it. Our role has now expanded, due to the large number or misplaced and evacuated people scattered around the area, making their way home or trying to make their way home in quite desperate attempts to restore the life that was so abruptly turned around in September, after the danger of Mt. Agung erupting was announced at the highest level.

Our Achievements:

Along with our stocks of donated and purchased medical supplies which we need to continually maintain and restock, we have in association with our teams, prepared and wish to increase, maintain and restock our "Foodbank" with current stores as of November 2017 including :

We have created a radio network which can be accessed by any village in this area to contact Rumah Sehat Humanitarian Project and Amed Bali First Aid P3K.
This network has never before existed and has been designed to operate not only under normal circumstances, but in case of power failure and other emergency situations.
Our team members can be quickly paired with a medical professional to respond rapidly to medical emergency situation, also in very difficult terrain.
This is another desperately needed service for this isolated area which has never before existed.

Our team of First Aiders continue their training and now have very well equipped first aid backpacks, and are able to deal with many difficult situations.

We hope that you can assist us in acquiring our much needed piece of equipment- our "All Terrain Emergency Ambulance".

You will be assisting us in our life saving efforts.
