Amateur Radio Communications Team
The Amateur Radio Communications Team (ACT) is a group of FCC licensed volunteers who also have life experience as firefighters, law enforcement and other professions.
ACT provides health and welfare communications during emergency events in our Community.
While all our our volunteers own their equiment, the cost of equipment to extend the range of our Mobile Command Unit is beyond the scope of a small group of volunteers.
We would like you to help ACT purchase modest equipment to extend the range of our Mobile Communications Command Unit.
Unfortunately, emergencies have no timeline. Therefore extending the range of radio communications is considered an immdiate need.
Your small donation will help ACT to further protect our community by permitting us to improve our communications capabilites.
ACT's longer term goal is to network with other volunteer groups in our community and to assist other FCC licensed Amateur Radio volunteers in communities across the Globe in creating their own health and welfare communications teams.
