Amber's fight with Breast Cancer

Amber was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at the age of 32. The prognosis is that the cancer can be cured with a combination of aggressive chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. This is a very large and unexpected burden for her to handle on her own, the costs of appointments , missing work, and expensive tests are already starting to take their toll. Amber expects her bills to be well over $5,000 in the next month alone.
Amber is a dedicated mother of 2 wonderful cats, but would love to have a child as well. The chemotherapy she will have to undergo in a few weeks could prevent her from having children in the future. Amber is seeing a fertility specialist in Boston to ensure she will be able to have children someday. This process however is not covered by her insurance and could cost well over $15,000 when all said and done. Amber has a very long road ahead of her including 5 months of chemotherapy before she can even undergo her surgery. She is a tough, strong woman who will not let this cancer win.
