Building Fund for Community Center

I hope you enjoyed the video.  Some of the pictures and video work is very old.  For a moment I thought I wouldn't include it.  But then I thought about my story...  This only  tells a little of my journey.  It was over forty  years ago when I sat on my front porch on North 6th street in Harrisburg, PA braiding hair.  I was barely a teenager.  But I remember dreaming, and dreaming and dreaming about one day opening my own salon and my very own beauty school.   Through all the ups and downs, trials and tribulations, I did both!  With  no start-up money I was a beauty salon owner for seventeen years prior to opening my own beauty school.  I appeared on a reality beauty show "Cuttin in the ATL" in episodes 3 and 7 of the 1st series.  I'm a stylist, cosmetology teacher, author, coach and motivational speaker.   I also travel around the world as a beauty school evaluator for a major accrediting agency.  But one day, life took me for a loop... And I found myself in places where I never imagined I'd be, Filing for divorce and feeling mentally, physically, emotionally and spritually challenged.  As I looked back over my life, I realized that I was on a merry-go-round for many years and never realized it.   And through my spiritual walk, I realized that I wasn't on that merry-go-round alone.  There are many people walking around daily, yet somehow lost...    But one day  reality hit me,  and I went through a life transition.  A transition that I wouldn't trade for the world... You see, it was that place in my life where I was able to discover my true identity; With God's help, I was replenished, restored and rebuilt  all over again.  Now here I am today,  Mother of three adult children.  My oldest son, David, is recently graduated from SAE Institute as an audio engineer.  He's also a Entertainment Manager and Professional Business Owner and Veterinarian.    My only daughter, Uniquia, recently graduated from Clark Atlanta University, with a BA in Theatre Arts.  She's a professional model, actress, poet and author, and my youngest son, Venzell recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BA in Communications.  He's currently in Grad School at the University of Miami as a student athlete.   I'm a proud grandmother of six year old, "Skye"  I'm also an ordained minister, and Founder of "The Amanda Manigault Co., and Wilbert Manigault International Ministries Inc. (a non-profit 501c3 charity organization)   I vow to spend the rest of my life helping inspire women, empower business owners and educate cosmetologists.  My quest is to help RESTORE, REPLENISH & REBUILD lives the way God rebuilt mine. I've been REBORN!!

You see, on October 25, 2016 I celebrated 50 years of "LIFE."   I am truly "Thankful" for every year, every month, every week, every day, every hour, every minute and every second that I have spent on this Earth.  I can honestly say, "no matter my circumstances, the miracles and blessings that God has poured upon my life, far outweigh any issue that may have ever occurred in my lfe!  I am truly blessed!  I'm beautiful!  I'm happy!  I'm intelligent" I'm free!  I'm healthy! and I'm grateful to have met some wonderful, amazing people throughout my fifty one years of living, doing business and travelling around the world.  I'm grateful that God placed me in a family with some amazingly great people.  He gave me some awesome and amazingly great friends that I've grown to love.  Many of you don't know my story...   While others do...  But overall, I accomplished a lot in my first fifty years of life and over forty years in business.   So what's next for Amanda?   God has put me in a place where it's all about serving others and being an asset to my community.  And it's my quest to spend my next 50 years doing just that...

With that being said, I'm happy to announce and re-launch this campaigne to you for my new Family Community Center.  This  center  "Seniors, Single Moms & Children" is  an outreach community center that consists of programs to help the entire family.  This center will focus on training and development, after-school and summer programs, entrepreneurial programs, senior beauty services, cosmetology  school, donation & resource center, and other misc. services. We will partner with other organizations to help provide an array of community events and services for seniors, single moms and children.  

We are seeking to raise $500,000 by January 2018. YES! I said, $500,000!  We are asking for your help and support to help fund this center. You will receive a receipt for any funds donated and your receipt can be used as a tax write-off with the IRS.   Our non-profit organization, "Wilbert Manigault International Ministries Inc." is a  501c3 charity organization.  For more information about this organization, you may  visit www.manigaultministries.org
