The Gift of Spanish

I have a dream.  
A dream to help this world awaken.  
A dream to help heal.
A dream to love.  

I dream to create a space where people like you and I can come together and share our gifts with one another embracing each other's presence and celebrating this precious thing we call life.  

I dream to create a healing space that not only helps us heal one another but a space where we also live in harmony with Mother Earth, giving back to her as much as she gives to us.  

Many of you know I have been traveling around the world the last year to gain skills and knowledge that will help me better support others.  

I have invested in: 
Learning Ayurveda & working with herbs
Advanced Yoga courses
Massage
Reiki Courses 
And last but not least...

Permaculture Design. 

I have been living in community style living spaces. Learning about living in harmony with nature and one another.  I have volunteered at Eco Retreats, Permaculture sites and managed Guest Houses along the way. 

All of this has been setting me up for something much larger.   Something I thought was quite far off in the distant future, but upon arriving in Central America, I realize this dream is much closer than I may have originally thought. 

I hope to take my skills and combine them with other people who dream to help heal and have skills to help make this dream become a living reality. 

So where does Spanish come into play?  

I believe that the opportunity for this space lies in Central America.  I have been practicing Spanish every day but in order to really deepen my connection to the people and the community, I am realizing that really understanding the language can help drastically. 

Usually, I am too proud to ask for help.  I know I can do it on my own so 9 times out of 10 I choose to. 

Today I chose to put my ego aside and ask the community if you want to dream with me to help make this place become a reality.  

If you have been inspired by any of the work I have done the past year and a half and would like to see this work continue in more ways that you too can benefit, then maybe you would like to help give the gift of Spanish so that I can turn this dream into a manifested reality. 

I hope to take 2 weeks of Spanish lessons staying with a host family so that I can understand the culture from the inside out. 

My birthday is in a month and a half and I couldn't think of a better gift.  

The school I am going to is right here in Leon and is called Metropolis Spanish School. 

There is one woman and her husband as well as a student from Michigan studying Medicine, whom I have yet to meet. 

This is my new home for at least 1, hopefully, 2 weeks! 


I am feeling so incredibly grateful to be here and for all the contributions so far.  Many people who I would never have guessed have contributed, it just goes to show how much love and support exists around the world.  

Thank you for always supporting the dream.  I truly wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for you.
