Alzheimers Society of Ireland 100K Cycle Challenge
Donation protected
We as a family (well some of the fitter ones anyway) are partaking in The Alzheimer Society of Ireland Wild Atlantic Cycle Challenge on 13th July 2019. This is in memory of our late father Jim Finnerty who passed away last September 2018 having battled with Alzheimer's for over five years. We have seen first hand the devastating effects this degenerative and progressive disease can have on the individual and their family.
Without the support of various organisations locally in Co. Mayo we would not not have been able to care for our Dad at home.
It is our intention that by fundraising for local services through The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland families in Mayo can continue to receive this invaluable support. Alzheimers Society of Ireland run a Day Care Centre in Castlebar Co. Mayo where our funds will be directed.
Please donate whatever you can. It will hopefully go a long way to help other families care for their loved ones.
