I have decided to carry out a parachute jump in the aim to raise money for Alzheimer’s reserch uk . I have lost my beloved nanna through this terrible disease along with her brother , my uncle .
watching a loved one go through this is heart breaking not to mention the first time she didn’t recognise who I was she would often think my daughter was me as a child , it broke my world when she just didn’t know who any of us were. . Her daughter , my mother and her husband my grandfather had to care for her around the clock as she lost the ability to look after herself . eventually she has to go into a home . She remained here for 6 years . In total my nan suffered with this for 12 years .
