Alyssa's Tanzania Trip

Hello! My name is Alyssa Summerson and I am a third year student in the Social Work Program at The University of Maine at Presque Isle. In May of 2017, I will experience a rare and amazing opportunity to visit Tanzania, Africa as my junior field placement for six weeks. In Tanzania, I will be experiencing African culture and volunteering at an orphange taking care of little ones and helping out to the best of my ability.
This trip means a lot to me becasue I feel as though it is a fantastic opportunity to do what I love doing the most: helping people. A trip like this does cost around $3,000 for a plane ticket and living expenses. Therefore, any donations are very appreciated, thank you so much!
