Alyssa Smathers Storm Relief

On August 7th, 2018, in the midst of an enormous thunderstorm, two trees fell and demolished the majority of Alyssa Smathers' home in Atlanta. Alyssa, her dog Alice, and her roommate Katie were all home at the time. One of the trees smashed through Alyssa's room with her inside. She suffered a concussion and some contusions from roof and tree collapsing on her but thankfully, they are all okay; but  Alyssa's home has been severely damaged. She is fortunate to have insurance, but there are many unforeseen medical and daily costs and a long road ahead to recovery. PLEASE help us raise the funds she needs to help get her life and belongings back together as soon as possible.

Anyone who knows Alyssa understands she is one of the most genuinely caring individuals on this planet. I should know. Back in December of 2017, when my house burned down, Alyssa was there for me every step of the way and I am forever grateful for her continuous support and encouragement during that time of need.
