From what I've gathered from Alysha's friends, family, Assistant Principal at Butler High School is that Alysha had great ambitions and was doing great things in her life. She had just graduated from Butler High School and had a bright future in store for her. She was even in the process of moving into her own apartment - quite remarkable to save up enough money to do that at such a young age.
Please support Dale Johnson and Joanna Rodriguez (Alysha's parents) through this difficult time. If you can find it in your heart to help with financial assistance, the family will be forever grateful. However, if you are unable to assist financially we understand and ask that you please pray for strength and comfort for all of her grieving family and share this request with as many people as you can.
My personal relationship to Dale Johnson is that of a coworker. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon meeting Dale 2 years ago, he has been a compatible, friendly, and energetic person day in and day out. Our relationship has grown more and more this past year and my sincerest thoughts go out to him and his family. A father losing his daughter must be one of the worst feelings one can experience in life. The funds will be taken out of my account and a check will be given to Alysha's parents - Dale and Joanna.
With that being said, all donations will go to the family to help them cover all costs (funeral) incurred during this difficult time. I will be withdrawing the funds in my name for their family and giving them the funds as cash to help them cover the funeral costs.
