We are community members and local farmers and business owners who have banded together to create a farmer's market, right here in Aloha, Oregon!
Did you know that Aloha has one of the highest rates of fresh food access issues in the Portland Metro area? We are here to help and to provide easy, affordable access to local food, as well as to serve as a community gathering space for Aloha residents.
Our goal is to open our market on Thursday, May 5th, 2016 and have a Cinco de Mayo opening celebration!
We plan on the market running from May to September, every Thursday from 3pm to 7pm in the parking lot behind Bales Thriftway at Farmington and Kinnaman Roads.
We will offer fresh produce, fruits, ready to eat foods, kids' events and live music! Your donation will assist with the opening costs of starting up our market, provide signage, licensing fees, software, EBT, WIC and Debit access, along with sanitation facilities, gathering spaces, and a dog sitting station.
In order to make all of this happen we need the funds by no later then March 31st, 2016.
Just think of all the delicious food and live music you, your friends and family will enjoy strolling through the market every week!
