ALNM - Help Fund our 2019 Concerts

Donation protected
"A LITTLE NEW MUSIC  is the best hour of new and unheard musical theatre material in LA!"  - LA Weekly

And, guess what?  Generating this concert series is an all-volunteer effort.  But, we're changing that.

We've been producing this unique concert series in LA since 2013...and these past 18 concerts would never have been possible without the volunteer commitments of our performers.

Many of these talented and fearless folks have learned brand new songs simply to contribute to the process of new works, and to support some amazing writers!  We are so thankful to our community for bringing us this far.  But starting 2018, we are evolving to a reimbursement model for the benefit of our performers -- and we need your help!

Like so many arts programs out there, ticket revenues do not begin to cover the budget for performer stipends.  Will you help us get there?

We do 3 to 4 concerts per year, and typically premiere 12 to 14 songs at each concert.  Each concert costs approximately $2500 to produce.   Multiplied by 3, that's $7,500.  Multiplied by 4, that's $10,000!

2019 concert dates are still being worked out, but our last concert of 2018 is coming up fast on Thursday, December 20th.  And looking ahead to 2019, we'd love to ensure that we have the additional funding in place to start the year off right.

Such a great year!  We've already been blessed to have started partnering with ASCAP and the ASCAP Foundation this year.  Working together we can bring even more amazing talents to the stage to showcase more emerging talents that will be the future of Broadway and more!

Your support means the world to us!  Remember, we're volunteering our time to do this, but we think that our audiences, both locally in Los Angeles, and online (YouTube, Facebook) deserve to see and hear these fantastic songs!

We look for the best, most diverse and interesting songs to keep our audiences connected to the cutting edge of musical theater.  We believe that we are all better off when music tells our stories.

We'd LOVE to be able to include YOUR NAME on our DONOR LIST, and give you Special Recognition for your generous contributions.

OUR MISSION:
Whether a premiere from an established writer or an undiscovered tune from a promising up-
and-comer, our mission is to showcase talent with a program that keeps your finger on the pulse.
